The Green Carpet, 2023 was a sustainable design advocacy campaign organised by the students of The Design Village, India.
Aimed to drive awareness towards the over consumption and continuous resource use, led by us as a creative industry.
Prompt: Upto 15% of materials delivered to build sites are not used.
Concept: This material is either reused on other construction sites, saved for future use, or becomes garbage. Some of it is also stolen and resold at greater costs to sellers. This is an installation that tells the story of these unused materials on a construction site, as well as the politics behind them.


Muse: Hritiksha
Prompt: 75% of the habitable land is occupied by livestock.
Concept: In the economic sector agriculture and livestock contributes approximately 24% of the global greenhouse gas emissions. Moreover the land it takes/consumes isn't even being used efficiently which could help accommodate the starving and the homeless. Choulou de zhenxiang is an attempt to visually represent these issues.
